Carmela Coffee digital gift cards are a simple way to share a crafted moment. These Gift Card Terms explain how Carmela Coffee digital gift cards work and what to do if you need help.

Digital gift cards only (powered by Toast)
Carmela Coffee gift cards are digital only and are issued and managed through Toast, our third-party provider. Purchasing, delivery, balance tracking, and redemption are handled through Toast’s systems.
Because the gift card program is operated through Toast, certain technical steps and processing rules may be governed by Toast’s platform policies.
Purchasing and delivery

Digital gift cards may be purchased online where available.

Delivery is typically sent by email or text to the recipient information provided at checkout.

Please double-check the recipient email/phone number before completing purchase.
Using your gift card

Digital gift cards can be redeemed at participating Carmela Coffee locations where Toast gift card redemption is enabled.

Gift cards may be used toward eligible purchases of food and beverages.

If your purchase total exceeds the gift card balance, you can pay the remaining amount using another accepted payment method.
No cash value
Gift cards have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
Returns and refunds

Gift card purchases are generally final sale.

If you believe an error occurred (wrong amount, duplicate purchase, delivery issue), contact us as soon as possible and we’ll review the situation.

Refunds or adjustments, when available, may be processed through Toast and returned to the original payment method.
Lost, stolen, or misdirected gift cards
Treat your digital gift card like cash. Carmela Coffee and Toast are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
If a gift card was misedirected due to an incorrect recipient email/phone number entered at checkout, we may not be able to recover it, but please contact us quickly. We’ll do our best to help based on the information available in the Toast system.
Fraud prevention and misuse
We may refuse, suspend, or cancel gift cards and related orders if we suspect fraud, misuse, or unauthorized activity. We may also limit purchases or redemptions to protect guests and the integrity of the program.

Program changes
Carmela Coffee may update these Gift Card Terms or change the gift card program from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
